Recycling urban trees is our heartbeat of our business, and this table was designed by our co-founder, Jay, as the embodiment of that value.
In an effort to use every piece of wood that came through our shop, Jay spent months building this table out of our scraps and off cuts from other table builds.
Each day after work he would take the refuse from other projects, glue up strips, and piecemeal them together to make this one-of-a-kind table.
Hidden in the building blocks of the table you will find almost every wood species we harvested locally from 2017-2019 including, white oak, red oak, black walnut, maple, osage orange, and elm.
He then finished the table by applying an ebonizing solution that reacts with the natural tannins in each piece of wood turning it's own unique shade of gray.
